Teaching Assistant Opportunity in Wigan - Start Soon! Are you a Level 2 or 3 qualified Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity in Wigan? Do you have a passion for supporting primary students and helping them thrive in the classroom? We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our team and make a difference in local schools. This role offers flexible opportunities to work in a variety of settings, gain valuable experience, and develop your teaching career.

Job Responsibility:

Help prepare a lesson and tidy the classroom afterwards
Provide assistance with lesson plans
Support children across the curriculum
Give extra support to children with special needs
Help mark work
Report student progress
Help look after the children during school trips and activities
Look after children that are unwell
Attend meetings
Confidence in guiding individuals or small groups
A positive attitude and effective communication skills

Requirements:

Experience working with young people
Class management skills
Comfortable managing challenging behaviour
Able to engage with and motivate children
TA Qualified
