Job Description

We have an excellent opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant mainstream Primary School in the Brackley area on a long-term basis, with the potential to become permanent. This full-time position is available to start immediately, and shortlisting is currently taking place. With a nurturing ethos and high expectations, the school ensures all pupils develop the skills and confidence needed to succeed in the next stages of their learning.

Job Responsibility

  • Supporting the Class Teacher to ensure pupils remain engaged in learning
  • Adapting to the individual needs of students within your care
  • Demonstrating strong classroom management skills
  • Supporting students to make positive progress

Requirements

  • A Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge and familiarity with the UK curriculum
  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service
  • The right to work in the UK
  • Two education or school-based references
