We are seeking a resilient and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team on a temporary basis, with the potential for a permanent position.

Job Responsibility:

Provide proactive and consistent behavior management support throughout the school day
Assist in creating a positive and structured classroom environment conducive to learning
Support teaching and learning activities, adapting your approach to meet individual student needs
Build strong and trusting relationships with students, fostering their emotional well-being and self-esteem
Communicate effectively with children, staff, and parents/carers
Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills

Requirements:

Experience working with children with challenging behaviors, ideally in a primary setting
A compassionate and patient approach, coupled with a firm but fair demeanor
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Resilience and the ability to manage challenging situations calmly and effectively
Awareness of the increasing prevalence of mental health challenges in young children and a commitment to supporting their well-being
