Job Description:

A full-time position in a child-centred primary school supporting two pre-verbal pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition in an inclusive Reception/EYFS setting in Camden. Responsibilities include developing tailored provisions, sensory activities, personal care support, and collaboration with the SENCO.

Job Responsibility:

Supporting two pre-verbal pupils with ASC on a 1:2 basis
working closely with the SENCO and class teacher
delivering learning via bespoke timetables and sensory activities
supporting with personal care routines as needed

Requirements:

Degree in Psychology, Child Development or a related field
a genuine passion for working with children with Autism and complex needs
previous experience with SEN is desirable – professional or personal
comfortable supporting with personal care
strong communication skills and a compassionate, calm approach
confident working collaboratively with teaching and support staff

Nice to have:

Previous experience with SEN – professional or personal
