Job Description:

Teaching Assistants – Worthing. SEN Experience • KS1 & Early Years Support. Monday–Friday | 8:30am–3:30pm | £89 per day. Are you passionate about helping young children learn, grow, and feel confident in the classroom? Primary schools across Worthing are looking for warm, reliable Teaching Assistants with SEN experience to join their teams in KS1 and Early Years.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supporting pupils in KS1 and Early Years (classroom & 1:1 support)
  • Helping deliver phonics, early literacy, numeracy and play‑based activities
  • Providing additional support to children with SEN (ASD, ADHD, speech & language needs, SEMH, etc.)
  • Creating a calm, encouraging classroom environment
  • Working closely with teachers and SENCOs to support children’s progress
  • Being a friendly, dependable presence for pupils who need consistency

Requirements:

  • Experience supporting children with special educational needs
  • A patient, nurturing, positive personality
  • Someone who genuinely wants to make a difference
  • A good communicator who works well in a team
  • Reliable, enthusiastic and confident around young children
  • Passionate about KS1/EYFS learning and early development
  • Must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS check or Enhanced check for Regulated Activity with the Disclosure & Barring Services
