Job Description

Are you an experienced TA looking for a new role? Do you have experience working with children with SEN? Do you want the opportunity to make a difference to the lives of young people? Randstad Education are currently recruiting for SEN Teaching Assistants for a variety of roles across Merseyside. Previous experience in a similar roles is essential.

Job Responsibility

  • Work with pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups to provide support during lessons
  • Provide general support to the class teacher, such as setting up the classroom for lessons
  • Support pupils with SEN and develop strategies to best support their needs
  • Liaise with the class teacher and any other relevant professionals to discuss pupil progress
  • Provide additional support with lunch and break duties where needed
  • Report any concerns to the SENCo

Requirements

  • Previous experience working in a school or similar role
  • Enhanced Child DBS (or willingness to apply)
  • Experience with SEN (desirable)
