Make a Difference Every Day – SEND Teaching Assistants Wanted! Are you passionate about supporting young people and ready for a rewarding role in education? We’re recruiting fulltime and part time Teaching Assistants to work in SEND schools across the Hastings and Bexhill area, supporting pupils with additional needs and helping them thrive in the classroom.

Job Responsibility

  • Support the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management
  • Work 1:1 or in small groups with pupils with SEND (including SEMH, ASD, ADHD)
  • Encourage positive behaviour and engagement
  • Help create a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment

Requirements

  • Eligible to work in the UK or hold a relevant work visa
  • Provide details for reference checks
  • Provide an Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one
  • Strong communication and teamwork
  • Calm, patient, and resilient approach
  • Ability to build positive relationships
  • Confidence supporting behaviour and emotional regulation
  • A genuine interest in SEND education
