Pink Tile Education is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a lovely secondary school in Crawley. Job Responsibility:
Provide 1:1 support to students with additional needs, helping them access the curriculum and build confidence
Support small group learning, adapting activities to meet different abilities and learning styles
Assist in classroom management, helping to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
Support students’ personal and social development, encouraging engagement, independence, and positive behaviour
Collaborate closely with teachers, SENCO, and other staff to implement learning plans and provide feedback on student progress
Requirements:
A caring and motivated individual who enjoys supporting young people in a secondary school setting
Experience working in a school or educational environment is desirable but not essential
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
Ability to provide 1:1 and group support tailored to the needs of individual students
A current DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
Flexible, patient, and proactive approach to supporting both learning and wellbeing
