Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Kidderminster. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic learning environment, supporting pupils academically, socially, and emotionally.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist with classroom delivery
  • Provide targeted support to students with Special Educational Needs, including SEMH and complex needs
  • Contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of the school

Requirements:

  • GCSE Maths and English (Level 2/C or above)
  • Experience working within an educational setting
  • Knowledge of safeguarding principles and child protection procedures
  • Experience supporting pupils with SEMH, complex needs, and challenging behaviour
  • A child-centred approach and commitment to inclusive practice
  • Full clean driving licence

Nice to have:

  • Working towards a Level 2 Award in Support Work in Schools (or equivalent)
  • Positive, creative approach to meeting individual pupil needs
