Job Description:

At EdEx we are working with a fantastic Primary School based in Lewisham who are looking for Creative Graduates – Unqualified Teaching Assistants. The school seeks individuals to provide support to the classroom teacher and use creative outlets such as music, art, and drama to encourage student learning. The role involves working across all year groups, running interventions in core subjects, and supporting pupils with SEN. This is a full-time role for the remainder of the academic year starting ASAP.

Job Responsibility:

Fulfilling Teaching Assistant duties across all year groups (EYFS/KS1/KS2)
Holding 1:1 and group interventions for core subjects (English & Mathematics)
Providing additional support for SEN pupils (ASD, ADHD, Dyslexia etc)
Preparing materials for classes
Maintaining a safe classroom
Promoting a fun environment for the pupils

Requirements:

Have a drive and passion for working in education
Have a creative and innovative thinking pattern that is adaptable to the pupil’s needs
Previous experience working with children
SEN experience/knowledge is desirable but not necessary
Hold a creative degree (Music, Arts, Drama etc)

SEN experience/knowledge
