Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive school community in Horam. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about helping children learn, grow, and reach their full potential.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide in-class support to teachers across subjects and year groups
  • Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning and progress
  • Support pupils with additional needs to ensure all learners are included
  • Help maintain a positive, safe, and engaging classroom environment
  • Assist with classroom preparation, resources, and activities
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school with energy and professionalism

Requirements:

  • Has experience working with children (school-based experience desirable)
  • Is patient, kind, and able to build positive relationships with pupils
  • Has strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Is proactive, flexible, and willing to learn
  • Holds, or is willing to work toward, relevant TA qualifications
