Job Description:

An exciting unique opportunity for a Teaching Assistant with a current working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and experience of supporting small groups of children with SEND. Our recently graded Outstanding school is looking for someone who is positive; goes above and beyond for our children; with an exceptional track record in supporting teaching and learning; and the ability to inspire and motivate small groups of children with Autism and moderate learning difficulties.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support a small group of children with complex learning needs in Explorers class
  • Support children experiencing a blended approach of play-based learning alongside integrated lessons in the mainstream classroom
  • Support lead practitioner
  • Support children to access learning when back in the mainstream classroom

Requirements:

  • Current working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage
  • Experience of supporting small groups of children with SEND
  • Experience supporting children with Autism and moderate learning difficulties
