This unique primary and secondary setting currently supports 95 learners with Social, Emotional, or Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Working in partnership with several local specialist sites, we're renowned for our therapeutic accolades and commitment to student well-being. What You'll Do: Empowering Every Learner, Every Day As a Teaching Assistant, you'll be an integral part of our supportive educational team. Your responsibilities will include: Supporting the class teacher with the day-to-day running of the classroom. Providing targeted, specialist support to small groups of 3-7 learners with complex needs. Collaborating effectively with other teaching assistants to deliver holistic support. Assisting in the delivery of engaging and interactive lessons and educational activities. Offering crucial 1:1, small group, and whole-class support to learners with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Actively contributing to creating a positive and supportive learning environment for all students. Assisting with the planning and preparation of learning resources and activities. Monitoring and recording student progress, providing valuable feedback to the class teacher. Maintaining a safe, orderly, and conducive classroom environment.
