Job Description:

Without education there is no future. Do you want to help young adults with special needs develop the skills and education to have the best futures imaginable? This school is currently seeking a Teaching assistant to join their team. This role is needed due to a current member of the team retiring after 25 years! This setting currently supports 100+ pupils between the ages of 4 and 19 years. The school is expanding and offers every learner a tailored and 1:1 education. Full training will be provided and you will have immediate access to free and fully funded qualifications.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supporting in the delivery of engaging and interactive lessons and educational activities
  • Supporting learners with SEN on a 1:1, small group and whole class basis

Requirements:

  • Relevant SEN experience
  • Experience (voluntary or paid) working with children and young adults
  • GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
