Job Description:

EYFS/Reception – Autism Support opportunity at a caring and inclusive primary school in Camden. In this role, you will work within the school’s Reception/EYFS setting, providing 1:2 support to two pre-verbal pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC). This role includes working on bespoke timetables, assisting with personal care, and collaborating closely with the SENCO to deliver tailored provision.

Job Responsibility:

Supporting two pre-verbal pupils with ASC on a 1:2 basis
Working closely with the SENCO and class teacher
Delivering learning via bespoke timetables and sensory activities
Supporting with personal care routines as needed

Requirements:

Degree in Psychology, Child Development or a related field
A genuine passion for working with children with Autism and complex needs
Previous experience with SEN is desirable – professional or personal
Comfortable supporting with personal care
Strong communication skills and a compassionate, calm approach
Confident working collaboratively with teaching and support staff

Nice to have:

Previous experience with SEN is desirable – professional or personal
