Job Responsibility:
Providing one-on-one and small group support to students with a variety of SEN, implementing tailored learning plans and strategies
Working closely with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to ensure a coordinated and effective approach to student learning
Creating a nurturing, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student engagement and well-being
Maintaining clear and effective communication with parents, caregivers, and other professionals involved in the student's care
Demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in adjusting teaching strategies and support plans to meet individual student needs
Requirements:
Proven SEN Experience
Passionate and Empathetic
Strong Communication Skills
Team Player
Patient and Understanding
Resourceful and Creative
GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths
Relevant experience in a school setting is highly desirable
Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is preferred, or equivalent experience
SEN experience is essential
