Job Description:

We are recruiting for an SEN Teaching Assistant who can confidently support positive behaviour, emotional regulation and structured learning within a specialist environment. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who thrives in a structured but dynamic educational setting.

Job Responsibility:

  • Monitoring and reporting on pupil behaviour and engagement
  • Supporting concentration and de-escalating behavioural challenges
  • Promoting independence and high behavioural expectations
  • Supporting teachers with differentiated learning activities
  • Preparing learning materials and resources

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a school or SEN setting
  • Resilient, calm and adaptable personality
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)

Nice to have:

  • Ability to track progression in attainment
  • Background in youth work
  • Behaviour management
  • Building relationships
