We're looking for enthusiastic Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistants to join an amazing team at a school dedicated to supporting autistic children. This is a truly rewarding opportunity where your contributions will directly help pupils learn, grow, and develop their potential.

Job Responsibility

  • Collaborate with teachers to deliver engaging lessons and support pupil learning
  • Provide individualised support, helping pupils with their academic, social, emotional, and personal care needs
  • Contribute to making learning exciting and accessible for every pupil

Requirements

  • GCSEs in Maths and English (Level 2/Grade C or above)
  • A genuine passion for working with children with special needs
  • A collaborative team player
  • A proactive learner
  • A strong understanding of Safeguarding principles and Child Protection procedures
  • Access to your own transport

Nice to have

  • background in youth work
  • experience in administering medication
  • experience in managing challenging behaviour
  • experience with autism spectrum disorders
