SEMH Teaching Assistant (TA) - Specialist SEMH School, Surrey. Location: Surrey. Hours: Full-time, Term-time only. Start Date: September 2025. Passionate about supporting young people with SEMH needs? Randstad Education is seeking a compassionate SEMH Teaching Assistant for a vibrant specialist school in Surrey. This school offers a personalised, trauma-informed curriculum for students aged 11-16 with EHCPs for SEMH, often alongside ASC, ADHD, and attachment difficulties. We focus on fostering independence and holistic well-being, integrating positive mental health provisions like PSHE, ELSA, and Mindfulness. The Role: You'll provide crucial 1:1 and small group support, assist with personalised learning, implement positive behaviour strategies, and help students develop emotional regulation. You'll work within a supportive, trauma-informed team to create a nurturing environment.
