Join Our Team as a Teaching Assistant! Are you a dedicated and compassionate individual looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people? We are an all-through school (ages 5-16) in the North of Bath, committed to providing exceptional education for pupils with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs. We're looking for a talented Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team.

Job Responsibility

  • Supporting pupils with their academic work, offering both individual and group assistance
  • Creating a safe and supportive learning environment specifically tailored for students with SEMH needs
  • Collaborating closely with teachers to develop and implement individualised education plans (IEPs)
  • Monitoring pupil progress and providing valuable feedback to teachers
  • Assisting with classroom management and implementing effective behaviour support strategies
  • Building positive relationships with pupils and their families, fostering trust and open communication
  • Participating enthusiastically in school events and activities

Requirements

  • Experience working with children with SEMH needs
