Job Responsibility:
Academic Support: Deliver lessons in partnership with the teacher, focusing on 1:1 interventions and leading small-group activities
Inclusion & SEN: Actively support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), ensuring they have the resources and care needed to participate
Classroom Logistics: Help maintain a positive atmosphere through effective behavior management and by preparing teaching materials
Student Well-being: Assist with the personal care and general welfare of students, acting as a supportive role model
School Liaison: Coordinate with parents and school staff to ensure every child's development is tracked and supported
Requirements:
Experience: Previous work with children (school, nursery, or childcare settings)
Skills: Strong behavior management abilities and the capacity to adapt to various learning needs
Academics: GCSE Grade C/4 (or equivalent) in Maths and English
Safety: A total commitment to safeguarding, requiring an Enhanced DBS on the update service (or a willingness to apply for one)
Mindset: A proactive, patient, and caring attitude
