Job Responsibility
Assist the Lead Teacher in setting up and facilitating daily play-based learning activities
Maintain constant supervision of children during indoor and outdoor play to ensure a safe environment
Assist with essential hygiene routines, including diaper changes, potty training, and hand washing
Help children during snacks and lunch, encouraging healthy eating habits and independence
Support and settle children during scheduled rest periods, ensuring their comfort and safety
Keep the classroom, toys, and equipment clean, organized, and sanitized throughout the day
Strictly follow school health and safety protocols and report any welfare concerns immediately
Requirements
A relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education or Childcare is highly preferred
Previous experience working in a nursery, creche, or preschool setting
Fluency in Portuguese is essential
a good communicative level of English is a strong advantage given the school's international curriculum
Extreme patience, a warm and caring personality, and the ability to multitask in a high-energy environment
