Job Description:

The Governors of Woolston CE Primary School wish to appoint an enthusiastic, caring and committed Teaching Assistant to join our team. The post is to support children with SEND within a KS1 class.

Job Responsibility:

Support children with SEND within a KS1 class

Requirements:

Experience of Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is essential
Work closely with the Class teacher, the SENDCo and external agencies to support learning
Have an understanding of the needs of the pupils they are working with
Implement agreed programmes of work with individuals, in or out of the classroom
Be professional at all times
Have a flexible approach to meeting the needs of all pupils
Promote and follow required policies and procedures
Have a sensitive but enthusiastic approach
Be willing to undertake additional training

Requirements
