Are you someone who loves helping children grow and learn? Do you have a CACHE Level 2 or 3 qualification in childcare? Looking for a fulfilling role in an early years setting? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! At Randstad Education, we are thrilled to partner with a fantastic nursery in Stockport in search of a passionate Teaching Assistant. If you're looking to work in a nurturing environment where you can truly make a difference in the lives of young children, we want to hear from you! As a Nursery Assistant, you will work alongside a supportive and friendly team, creating a safe, stimulating, and caring environment that encourages children's growth, development, and learning through fun, engaging activities.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist in planning and delivering activities that align with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Support children with their personal care needs, including feeding and toileting
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for the children
  • Build meaningful relationships with children, parents, and the wider nursery team
  • Promote children's learning and development through exciting, play-based activities

Requirements:

  • CACHE Level 2 or 3 in Childcare (or equivalent)
  • Experience in a nursery or early years setting is an advantage but not essential
  • A true passion for working with young children and supporting their development
  • Strong communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
