Specialised Communication: Gain or use experience with PECS, Makaton, and Visual Timetables to facilitate meaningful interaction. Job Responsibility:
Use visual schedules and now and next boards to reduce anxiety and help students manage transitions between activities
Work 1:1 to deliver personalised learning tasks that align with the student's specific interests and EHCP goals
Recognise the early signs of sensory or emotional deregulation and implement calming strategies or masking breaks before a crisis occurs
Facilitate structured play or social interactions, helping students develop the tools they need to build friendships and work alongside peers
