Join our specialist network as an Autism Support Assistant and help children with ASC navigate their school day with confidence, comfort, and success. Unlocking Potential: Support Beyond the Standard Classroom We are seeking dedicated ASC Specialists to work within local Special Schools and Resource Provisions. This role is for those who understand that for a student with Autism, a 'breakthrough' might be a successful transition between lessons, a new word, or a calm afternoon in a sensory room. Specialised Communication: Gain or use experience with PECS, Makaton, and Visual Timetables to facilitate meaningful interaction. Career Growth: Build a CV that is highly attractive for future roles in Clinical Psychology, SEN Teaching, or Occupational Therapy. Your Role as an ASC Champion As an Autism Support Assistant, you are the student's guide to the social and academic world, providing the scaffolding they need to thrive.
