Job Description:

Join our amazing team in Kidderminster as a Teaching Assistant. Your role will involve supporting classroom activities, helping students with special educational needs, and assisting with administrative tasks. If you're a team player with a can-do attitude, this role is for you!

Job Responsibility:

  • Assisting with administrative tasks

Requirements:

  • GCSE Maths and English Level 2/C or above qualification is essential
  • Experience within an education setting
  • Understanding of the Safeguarding principles and Child Protection procedures
  • Some experience of working with SEMH learners with complex needs and challenging behaviour in a school environment
  • Commitment to the role, the desire to put the child first and treat them as an individual
  • A patient, caring and positive attitude
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A valid DBS check or willingness to obtain one
  • Previous experience working with children in a school setting
  • Full clean driving licence

Nice to have:

  • Working towards Level 2 award in Support work in schools or an equivalent is desirable
  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or working with children is desirable
  • Be positive and creative in meeting pupils' needs
