Job Description:

No two days are the same here, and neither are our children. We are looking for extraordinary adults who can provide consistent, flexible, and non-judgmental support to children with complex and challenging behaviors. As a Teaching Assistant, you'll be a vital part of our school community, wearing many hats and being prepared to change them at a moment's notice! Your ability to be resilient, persistent, and solution-focused will be key to meeting our pupils' diverse needs.

Job Responsibility:

Support teaching and learning, working both 1:1 and with small groups of students
Manage classroom resources and create engaging displays that enhance the learning environment
Accompany children on educational trips and visits
Have lunch with children who may struggle socially, offering crucial support and connection
Utilize strong behavior management skills and excellent communication to keep children safe during heightened behaviors
Create, play, and teach games to pupils, fostering their social skills and reinforcing learning
Have a good basic understanding of English and Maths
Celebrate every success, big or small
Actively participate in therapeutic training sessions and reflective practice
Be part of decision-making, contributing to both the academic curriculum and our extra-curricular offerings

Requirements:
