Job Description:

We're looking for a dedicated and empathetic 1:1 Teaching Assistant to provide tailored support to an individual student with specific learning needs. This is an incredible opportunity to help a child thrive, build confidence, and achieve their personal best. You will work closely with one student, providing focused support within a classroom setting.

Job Responsibility:

  • Delivering targeted academic assistance, adapting materials to meet the student's unique learning style
  • Supporting the student with social and emotional development, fostering independence and self-esteem
  • Assisting with communication, engagement, and participation in activities
  • Collaborating with teaching staff and other professionals to implement the student's individual learning plan

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience supporting children with SEN
  • An understanding of various learning needs and effective support strategies
  • A patient, resilient, and proactive individual with excellent communication skills and a genuine commitment to inclusive education

Nice to have:
