Pink Tile Education are working in partnership with a fantastic specialist SEMH boys school located in a rural setting near Billingshurst, who are seeking a resilient, experienced, and passionate Teaching Assistant to join their team on a long-term basis, with the opportunity to move into a permanent role. This is an incredible school set within extensive grounds with outstanding facilities, providing a structured and supportive environment for boys aged approximately 5–16 (primary and secondary phases) who present with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs. Many pupils have experienced trauma, disrupted education, anxiety, or behavioural challenges, and may present with highly challenging behaviour, including verbal and physical dysregulation. Staff must be confident, calm, and consistent in their approach, with a strong focus on relationship-building, de-escalation, and positive behaviour support. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential due to the rural location of the school.
