Understanding of EHCPs and strategies for supporting diverse needs
Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent (desirable)
Calm, patient, and resilient approach to behaviour and communication
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one

Job Responsibility

Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND including autism, ADHD, SEMH, and speech and language needs
Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to implement personalised learning plans
Support pupils in accessing the curriculum and developing social and emotional skills
Promote inclusion and positive behaviour in the classroom
Assist with personal care and mobility where required
Maintain accurate records and contribute to reviews and assessments
Adapt quickly to different school environments and pupil needs
