Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our alternative provision programmes in Worthing. This full-time, term-time-only role involves supporting children and young people in a structured, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment, helping them develop confidence, skills, and wellbeing. You will also contribute to the Foundation’s wider mission of using sport, education, and community programmes to inspire and improve lives.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supporting students in lessons and activities to promote engagement and learning
  • Helping deliver enrichment activities focused on wellbeing and personal development
  • Promoting positive behaviour and social development
  • Ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed at all times

Requirements:

  • Receive ongoing training and mentoring, including Team Teach and Trauma-Informed Practice, to complement your academic studies
  • Build transferable skills in observation, intervention, and tailored support that will strengthen applications for postgraduate study or careers in clinical, educational, or occupational psychology
