Job Description:

The California Hospital Medical Center Early Care and Education programs provide early care and education services for infants toddlers and pre-school children. Staff within these programs are charged with nurturing and stimulating the social emotional language cognitive and physical development of each child. Center-based Early Care and Education programs are open year round from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m Monday though Friday.

Job Responsibility:

  • Planning and preparing daily classroom activities
  • Direct instructional services
  • Maintaining high quality classroom environments
  • Daily record keeping

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience working with children birth to five years
  • AA in Child Development or a minimum of 24 Child Development units required
  • Current CPR and First Aid training required

Nice to have:

  • Bilingual English/Spanish language skills preferred
  • California Department of Education Teacher Permit preferred
