Job Description

Teacher – Supply Cover | Horsham | Flexible Opportunities (KS3–KS5). Are you a qualified teacher seeking flexible, rewarding work across a range of secondary schools? This is an excellent opportunity to maintain control over your schedule while continuing to make a meaningful impact in the classroom. Pink Tile Education is seeking experienced Teachers (QTS required) to work as Supply Cover across secondary schools in Horsham, supporting learners from KS3 through to KS5. We work closely with schools to provide high-quality teaching cover, ensuring continuity of learning and a positive, structured environment for students. This role is ideal for experienced teachers looking for flexibility, variety across school settings, or additional teaching opportunities without the demands of a permanent contract.

Job Responsibility

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons across KS3–KS5 in a range of subjects
  • Maintain excellent classroom behaviour and a focused learning environment
  • Ensure students remain engaged, challenged, and on task throughout lessons
  • Adapt delivery to meet the needs of different learners where required
  • Provide clear and concise feedback to school staff following lessons
  • Follow all school policies, procedures, and safeguarding requirements

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
  • Proven experience teaching in secondary education (KS3–KS5)
  • Strong and confident classroom management skills
  • Professional, adaptable, and reliable approach
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Availability between 08:30 – 15:30, 2–5 days per week
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Must hold QTS with classroom experience
