Job Description:

Affinity Workforce Solutions are proud to be supporting welcoming and inclusive primary schools in Yate, part of the Greenshaw Learning Trust, in their search for passionate and dedicated Primary School Teachers. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire young minds, deliver high-quality learning, and make a lasting impact in a supportive school environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching to meet diverse learning needs
  • Supporting pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
  • Collaborating with colleagues, parents, and external professionals
  • Contributing to whole-school initiatives and continuous improvement

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching in a primary school setting (EYFS, KS1 or KS2)
  • Strong classroom management and behaviour strategies
  • Passionate about inclusive education and child development
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing

Nice to have:

  • SEN awareness or experience supporting pupils with additional needs
  • Experience with phonics, early literacy, or numeracy interventions
  • Familiarity with assessment frameworks and pupil progress tracking
  • A creative, enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning
  • Enhanced DBS (Affinity Workforce can assist with this)
