Job Responsibility:
Designing and delivering captivating lesson plans that cater to the unique learning styles and needs of students with SEMH
Differentiating instruction effectively to ensure all students are challenged and supported in their learning
Fostering a positive, inclusive, and emotionally intelligent classroom environment where students feel safe to express themselves and learn
Building strong, positive rapport with students, their families, and colleagues to create a collaborative support network
Utilising excellent classroom management skills to promote a calm and productive learning atmosphere
Implementing relevant safeguarding procedures to ensure the well-being and safety of all students
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
Proven experience working with students with SEMH needs is essential
Exceptional classroom management skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Deep understanding and practical experience with differentiated instruction
Ability to build meaningful rapport with young people and their families
Up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding procedures and a commitment to child protection
