The school caters to students from 18 months up to 18 years with state-of-the-art facilities, including: a full football field, 400m athletic track , 25m 8 lane covered swimming pool with learner pool, indoor multi-purpose sports hall, outdoor multipurpose courts and a 522 seat Performing Arts theatre. We have an exciting opportunity for a Teacher of Science to join King's School The Crown, starting in August 2026. The successful candidate will be an experienced and inspiring educator, able to deliver the UK curriculum across all Science subjects up to year 9 students, with experience teaching at least 1 Science up to GCSE.

Requirements
A bachelor's degree and PGCE or B.Ed, or the equivalent teaching qualification
A minimum of 3 years post-qualification teaching experience, in the specialised subject
Experience delivering the UK curriculum, up to GCSE
Confidence with the use of ICT in teaching
Enhanced disclosure from the DBS or equivalent
High expectations and aspirations for all students
A commitment to the overall development of young people
An open-minded approach to their work, are willing to learn and develop
A demonstrable love for what they do and a proven track record
