Job Description

Pink Tile Education is proud to be supporting a range of welcoming and inclusive secondary schools in the Shoreham area in their search for a dedicated and inspiring Teacher of Science for a September start. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator who is committed to helping students develop curiosity, confidence, and a strong understanding of scientific concepts. You will deliver engaging and well-structured Science lessons across KS3, KS4, and KS5, supporting learners of all abilities to achieve their full potential. Schools are looking for someone who brings strong subject knowledge, clear classroom presence, and a commitment to maintaining high expectations while fostering a supportive and positive learning environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Deliver engaging and well-structured Science lessons across KS3, KS4, and KS5
  • Support learners of all abilities to achieve their full potential
  • Maintain high expectations while fostering a supportive and positive learning environment

Requirements

  • Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Have strong subject knowledge in Science
  • Be confident delivering engaging lessons across KS3–KS5
  • Be committed to raising attainment and supporting all learners
  • Be able to manage behaviour effectively and create a positive classroom environment
  • Work collaboratively as part of a supportive department

Nice to have

  • Biology, Chemistry or Physics specialism desirable
  • ECTs encouraged to apply
