Job Description:

We now have a position open at Oasis Academy Leesbrook for a creative Teacher of Science who will contribute to wider success by teaching outstanding Science classes and sustaining student performance in terms of teaching, learning, and evaluation.

Job Responsibility:

  • Delivering core aspects of the Science curriculum
  • Knowledgeable in all 3 specialisms of Chemistry, Biology and Physics
  • Using assessments and feedback to sustain and raise achievement
  • Teaching outstanding Science classes
  • Sustaining student performance in terms of teaching, learning, and evaluation

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent qualification
  • Relevant specialist qualifications and experience (e.g BSc in a Science-related degree)
  • Ability to deliver high-quality Science lessons covering a range of modules and concepts, both theoretical and practical
  • Understanding of curriculum and assessment requirements for Science
  • Enthusiasm and commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning in preparation for examinations
