Job Description:

justteachers is working with a welcoming and ambitious school in Harrogate for a talented Teacher of Psychology to deliver A Level Psychology. This is an exciting opportunity for a knowledgeable and engaging teacher to inspire sixth form students and support them to achieve excellent outcomes in a subject that encourages curiosity, critical thinking and strong analytical skills. The role is to start in September and could be full or part time hours to suit.

Job Responsibility:

  • Plan and deliver engaging A Level Psychology lessons that challenge and motivate students
  • Prepare students effectively for assessments and examinations
  • Track attainment and provide clear, constructive feedback to support progress
  • Create a classroom culture that promotes curiosity, independence and academic confidence

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching Psychology at Key Stage 5 / A Level
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Psychology
  • The ability to build positive relationships and inspire young people
  • Excellent classroom practice, communication and organisational skills
