Job Description:

In the heart of Islington, an ‘Outstanding’ Secondary School is seeking a Teacher of Physics / Science Teacher for a September 2025 start. This is a permanent and full-time contract. The school offers TLR opportunities for experienced teachers and bespoke induction for Early Careers Teachers (ECTs). The role involves inspiring and motivating students while working with a supportive team.

Job Responsibility:

Inspiring and motivating the younger generation
Working alongside a team of fantastic Science Teachers
TLR Opportunities: KS3 Coordinator and Pastoral Responsibilities
Supporting and mentoring Early Careers Teachers (ECTs)

Requirements:

Must have UK QTS or be in the process of gaining
Strong academics across the board – Degree, A Levels and GCSEs
Must be meeting the 8 Teaching Standards to a ‘Good or Outstanding’ level
You must be able to work as part of a large team of Science Teachers
Must be willing to listen to feedback
