Job Responsibility:
Delivering engaging music lessons that cover theory, performance, and music history
Leading extracurricular ensembles, from school choirs to rock bands and orchestras
Preparing students for practical and written exams (GCSE/BTEC/A-Level)
Encouraging "Nurturing Independence" by helping students master their chosen instruments
Collaborating with the Drama and Arts departments for seasonal showcases and productions
Requirements:
Qualification: QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent, with a degree in Music
Skill Set: Ability to play and teach at least one instrument (Piano or Guitar is often preferred)
Compliance: An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
Passion: A "lifelong learner" attitude and a genuine desire to see students succeed
