Elementa Support Services is working in partnership with supportive and forward-thinking secondary schools to recruit enthusiastic and dedicated Teachers of Mathematics who can deliver engaging, challenging lessons across the curriculum. Job Responsibility
Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons in line with the national curriculum
Teach a broad range of mathematical topics across KS3 and KS4
Develop students’ problem-solving, reasoning, and analytical skills
Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed learning environment
Assess, monitor, and report on student progress effectively
Promote safeguarding, wellbeing, and positive behaviour at all times
Support students in preparing for examinations and achieving their academic goals
Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Education Workforce Council (EWC) registration
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply
Experience teaching Mathematics at secondary level (including placements)
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Nice to have
Experience teaching across KS3 and KS4
Experience teaching GCSE Mathematics with a strong understanding of examination requirements
Experience teaching A-Level Mathematics or Further Mathematics
A reflective and adaptable teaching approach
