Maths Teacher | Long-Term & Temporary Opportunities | Haywards Heath Are you a passionate educator ready to make numbers count? You will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons across KS3 and KS4 (and potentially KS5), ensuring that every student has the support and challenge they need to succeed. Location: Haywards Heath and surrounding areas. Start Date: Immediate and September starts available. Contract Type: Long-term, permanent, and flexible temporary roles. Pay: Competitive rates based on experience (Scale 1-6 / MPS / UPS). Key Responsibilities Inspiring Learning: Plan and deliver engaging, student-centered lessons that cater to a range of abilities. Assessment & Progress: Use data and assessments to track student growth and provide 'live' feedback to close learning gaps. Classroom Management: Maintain a positive, 'outstanding' learning environment where students feel safe and focused. Collaboration: Work closely with department heads and Teaching Assistants to ensure every child reaches their potential. Safeguarding: Act as a vigilant protector of student well-being, following all school policies and procedures. What We Are Looking For Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (ECTs/NQTs are highly encouraged to apply!). A degree in Mathematics or a related subject. A proven track record of helping students achieve strong results. An Enhanced DBS certificate (on the Update Service is a massive plus). A resilient, patient, and professional attitude.
