We are looking for a well-qualified and talented Teacher of Key Stage 3 Science, with experience in international or UK-based curricula to join our team in August 2026.
Job Responsibility:
Deliver engaging and effective Science instruction at Key Stage 3, aligned with the school’s curriculum framework
Plan and execute dynamic lessons that promote scientific enquiry, experimentation, and critical thinking
Monitor student progress through formative and summative assessments, ensuring high academic standards
Provide pastoral support, promoting student well-being and collaborating with the school’s well-being team
Encourage student involvement in extra-curricular activities, science clubs, and enrichment opportunities
Contribute to curriculum development and school improvement initiatives
Maintain a positive classroom environment with high standards of behaviour and discipline
Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and support professional development goals
Engage parents and stakeholders through regular communication about student progress
Stay current with developments in science education and participate in ongoing professional development
Requirements:
A relevant degree in Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or a related field), plus a valid teaching qualification
Experience teaching Science at Key Stage 3 (experience in international or UK curricula preferred)
Ability to inspire and engage students, fostering curiosity and enthusiasm for Science
Strong skills in differentiating instruction for diverse learners
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents
Experience using technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance learning
Commitment to continuous professional development
A strong understanding of safeguarding and student welfare practices
