Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver engaging and effective Mathematics instruction at Key Stage 3, aligned with the school’s curriculum framework
  • Plan and execute dynamic lessons that cater to diverse learning needs, incorporating modern teaching strategies and technology
  • Monitor student progress through formative and summative assessments, ensuring high academic standards
  • Provide pastoral support, promoting student well-being and collaborating with the school’s well-being team
  • Encourage student involvement in extra-curricular activities, maths clubs, and enrichment opportunities
  • Contribute to curriculum development and school improvement initiatives

Requirements:

  • A relevant degree in Mathematics or a related field, plus a valid teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching Mathematics at Key Stage 3 (experience in international or UK curricula preferred)
  • Ability to inspire and engage students, fostering confidence and enjoyment in Mathematics
  • Strong skills in differentiating instruction for diverse learners
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents
  • Experience using technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance learning
