Job Responsibility:

Deliver engaging and effective Mathematics instruction at Key Stage 3, aligned with the school’s curriculum framework
Plan and execute dynamic lessons that cater to diverse learning needs, incorporating modern teaching strategies and technology
Monitor student progress through formative and summative assessments, ensuring high academic standards
Provide pastoral support, promoting student well-being and collaborating with the school’s well-being team
Encourage student involvement in extra-curricular activities, maths clubs, and enrichment opportunities
Contribute to curriculum development and school improvement initiatives
Maintain a positive classroom environment with high standards of behaviour and discipline
Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and support professional development goals
Engage parents and stakeholders through regular communication about student progress
Stay current with educational advancements and participate in ongoing professional development

Requirements:

A relevant degree in Mathematics or a related field, plus a valid teaching qualification
Experience teaching Mathematics at Key Stage 3 (experience in international or UK curricula preferred)
Ability to inspire and engage students, fostering confidence and enjoyment in Mathematics
Strong skills in differentiating instruction for diverse learners
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents
Experience using technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance learning
Commitment to continuous professional development
A strong understanding of safeguarding and student welfare practices
