Job Description

Teacher of Geography. Are you an experienced teacher looking to step up into a paid TLR? Or, are you an ECT keen to find a school with a strong induction programme? EdEx are working with an Ofsted Outstanding school in Hounslow who have been branded "The Envy of the Borough" by another headteacher we work with locally. The school are looking to take on either: A Teacher of Geography for a Subject Lead TLR Or, an ECT who could would take on a class teacher position. These roles would be permanent from September 2026, meaning you would be paid and employed directly with the school (no agency work!). Based in Hounslow, West London. Paid on the Outer London Pay scale. Teaching Geography KS3-KS5. TLR Opportunities: Subject Lead, Humanities Lead. ECTs encouraged to apply. Full time & permanent.

Requirements

  • QTS is Essential – applications without QTS will not be considered
  • Strong results at A-Level and University
  • Experience working in a High A8 school is ideal

  • Ability to teach history is a plus
