Job Description

We are now seeking a passionate and well-qualified Geography Teacher to join our Senior School. The ideal candidate will deliver engaging, concept-driven lessons that build strong geographical knowledge, analytical thinking, and global awareness. Job Responsibility

  • Deliver engaging and well-structured Geography lessons that develop strong geographical knowledge, critical thinking, and global awareness
  • Plan and implement high-quality schemes of work aligned with the Cambridge curriculum and school standards
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing clear and constructive feedback to support academic growth
  • Create an inclusive, supportive, and stimulating learning environment where all students feel challenged and motivated
  • Integrate digital tools and resources to enhance learning, research, and geographical enquiry
  • Contribute to the pastoral care of students and support their overall well-being
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues to share best practices and ensure curriculum consistency
  • Participate in school events, field trips, clubs, and enrichment activities as part of the broader school community

Requirements

  • A recognized teaching qualification
  • A degree in Geography or a closely related field
  • Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Geography and global learning
  • Excellent classroom practice with the ability to support and challenge students of all abilities
  • Effective organizational skills and a commitment to high academic standards
  • A positive, flexible attitude and openness to innovation and continuous professional development
  • Experience with Cambridge programmes or international curricula (highly desirable)
