Job Description:

As a Teacher of Geography, you will join a high-profile department that is a popular choice for students at both GCSE and A-Level. You will deliver a curriculum that balances physical processes with human impact, helping students navigate the complexities of the modern world. You will have the opportunity to lead sophisticated discussions on urbanisation, tectonics, and environmental management, guiding students toward successful transitions into higher education.

Job Responsibility:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons across GCSE and A-Level Geography
Use data, GIS, and case studies to foster deep geographical enquiry
Use data-driven insights to ensure all students meet or exceed their ambitious targets
Encourage students to explore environmental and social issues with a critical and empathetic lens

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Eligibility to work in the UK
Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service
Proven Ability to teach Geography to at least Key Stage 4 (KS5 experience is highly desirable)

Nice to have:

KS5 experience
AQA/Edexcel experience
