We are partnering with a highly regarded, dedicated Sixth Form college to find an outstanding Teacher of Geography who can ideally bring additional expertise in Politics. Job Responsibility

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in Geography (and ideally Politics) that challenge and stretch post-16 students
  • Design and implement a thoughtful, resource-rich curriculum that fosters critical thinking and intellectual independence
  • Monitor, assess, and support student progress
  • Provide strong pastoral care and mentorship
  • Collaborate with departmental peers and the wider trust network

Requirements

  • Documented Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS
  • degree-level qualification in Geography or closely related social science
  • proven track record of delivering outstanding outcomes at Key Stage 5 (A-Level)
  • ability or desire to teach Politics
  • ability to reliably commute to Melton Mowbray
